Customer: Gemäldegalerie Berlin | acrylic and facade paint, glitter, gloss binder on existing walls | approx. 560sqm
For the Gemäldegalerie at Potsdamer Platz I carried out the exciting job of designing the walls for an exhibition on Claudia Scoda. They were to have a structure that was only visible in special light and occasionally sparkle in a kind of 80s style. For this purpose, after using a special primer, I mixed the paint with mica and glue and then covered it with a gloss binder. In normal light the structure was inconspicuous. However, when small movable spotlights were shone onto the walls, they glistened and glimmered!
